I had a 95 ZJ when I was a kid, then moved into Ford Rangers for the last few years. My truck died recently so I happily moved back into a 97 ZJ.

I am a Motorcycle Mechanic so I have good mechanical aptitude, but have some gaps in my knowledge due to components that are not on bikes... aka A/C and the likes :P

Look forward to chatting with all of you

Cheers
Dave

At the moment I have an 83 Yamaha Maxim 750, slightly bobbed.

I work for a Yamaha BMW Husqvarna shop

Interesting combo! Yami, BMW, Husq. Kinda cool.

Anyway, not a bad bike. Not my style, but at least she's a Yami!

I've had the bottom end reworked, as well as some head work done. She's basically a 750, but I try not to advertise.

I've got a Mitsu 15g turbo waiting with all sorts of fun goodies and plumbing. Waiting for me to get a newer sport bike. Then compression gets bumped down a bit and I'll boost her til she's got no more!

That's how it works sometimes, I need to re-ring my engine this winter...

Yami is the best IMO. I have worked on Suzi, Honda, Yami, BMW, and Husky and have found the yami to be the best bang for the buck. Not the best in any category, but the best all around and most reliable...

We are also getting Moto Guzzi, Aprillia, and the rest of the Piaggio Group

Lol, we have a customer with an old suzi 1200 turbo'd to 216 HP dyno without full boost
It is a sick bike...

Cheers
Dave
