Default New from Lou,KY

My name is Thomas and I'm from Louisville, KY. Found this forum on google. I sold my XJ last year to prepare for our 3rd child and now I'm back on track and on the hunt! Happy to be on the site!

Thanks. So far so good. There's plenty of XJs out there. It's just a matter of time before I find one that's fitting!

Yup! What are you looking for? I would recommend a 98/99. You have more HP than previous years, newer styling/interior and the high-pinion dana30. Once you hit 2000, you get the low pinion axle and the crack-prone 0331 head.

I've come across a 90 that has been garage kept it's whole life. Still has working a/c. Everything is functional. If I can get it at the right price then it'll be hard to pass on. But, other than that I'll keep an out for a 98/99. I really prefer the 5 speed. The manual trans is so much more fun in the XJ.

Will do. Looks like the 90 is a bust. Pulled up a vehicle history report and it was in a front accident in 98 and severe damage was reported. No wonder the chrome grill looked so good! It was in a rear fender bender as well which explains the nice rear chrome bumper. The hunt continues!
