Default New from kansas!

Hey guys I'm new to the forum but have owned an 98 xj limited for about 4 years in stock form. The truck has sat In parents yard for the last couple years as I was under the impressing the rod bearings were shot( as told by sneezy mechanic who wanted to buy it, I said no hah) but still an issue wth knocking sound from flex plate area which seems to be a common issue with these. I plan to do some DIY mods such as removing side trim and fenders as well as bumper covers and a few other small things. Maybe a three inch lift. Xj's run deep in my family... My cuz drives a 2000 country with 31's and 4 in of lift with the rear roof removed so I have some good references for tech questions. I will start a build thread and update it as much as possible with pics and info of my progress.
