Default New to jeeps from michigan

Hello all new to jeeps always wanted one now I have one, wait make that 2! My gf needed a new car and wanted a jeep so I found a steal of a deal, an o3 grand cherokee limited with a newer motor and trans already with a 4" iro lift and fox shocks! Got it for 3600! It needed a valve cover gasket and rear main gasket tho, so after all that I have about 4200 into it and love the truck so much, I found a 98 xj in Georgia I'll be headed to pick up this wensday. That one is even more impressive but I'll save that for later.... Lots to learn....

That is a ZJ not a XJ. Where in Michigan are you from?

XJ is 84-01 Cherokee and Grand Cherokee 93-98 is ZJ

Just found out my transfer case is leaking and I think it's due to the slip youlk putting pressure on the transfer case, I wanna do the slip youlk eliminator kit, any ideas as to which one is best? I have the 242 transfer case. I also have a cracked header I have to replace.....

The slip yoke is likely about to slide off the output shaft/tailcone.
The 242 uses the same Hack-n-Tap SYE as the 231. But the internal SYE kit costs almost twice that of the 231.
