maybe a dumb question but i was wondering since the 87 to 90 xjs have the two piece front axle with the actuator to lock the two peices could i weld the front diff and be ok when its unlock for street? or would it still skip and burn up tires around turns?

lifted the front used t-bird coils and t-bird spring isolators (modded) and just redrilled the hole for the trac bar for now. front end seems perfectly centered but still want a relocation bracket to be sure. btw i know i need tires haha these are believe it or not the original tires from 87!
