I decided to take a flyer on this jeep. Its my first xj and my second jeep ever. I also have a 2013 grand cherokee i bought for my gf. This is a 2001 2 door xj with the 4.0L and 5spd manual trans. It has 98,000 miles and no rust at all. However the prior owner wheeled the **** out of it and it needed some love. The worst part was the broken rear drive shaft, bald tires, cracked frame by steering box, chopped fenders passed the pinch point, and general neglect of suspension maintenance. The lift is pro comp suspension with teraflex body. I paid 2500 for it and have big plans for it. I have already put another 2750 into it and will be posting pics and info on the build/resurrection as soon as its complete. Let me know if you think i over/underpaid. Thanks everyone. Hoping this forum is friendlier than the dodge hellcat forum.
thanks,

Looks clean. If you are in Brown county you are North of me. We are in Laconia across the river from louisville. I would say that is a fair price. With no rust around here that is a good deal. Not sure about the deep cut of the fenders but maybe some flairs will help. But you should have room for any tire you want. Good luck.

I am actually located on lake lemon. As for the fenders i have a welder friend who is going to box in the fenders again and make some custom flairs out of aluminum or stainless. I just bought new mickey Thompson classic 3's and 33x12.5x15 cooper stt pro's.
