Hey Jeepers. I'm on my second Cherokee, and have loved every minute with them both. The first one (a stock red '99) took a nasty dive into the river where I work, but I came out smelling like a rose. My new blue '01 is stock, but itching for some mods. I'm a student of the Cherokee ways and can't wait to get my beast truly off-road worthy
The aftermath, after being pulled from the Whitewater
I swerved to miss a dog and went off a 60 foot cliff, went airbourne, hit the front end, and did an end-over-end flip, landing in the river. If I were in anything other than the ol' XJ, I probably wouldn't have been as lucky to walk away. Needless to say, next time the dog'll have to go
I sold her for scrap to offset the cost of getting it pulled from the river. In retrospect, I wish I'd kept it. I like the wheels on the red one better than the set on the blue. Some of the parts would've been nice to have around as well, but
