Welcome, what do you have? What do you plan to do with it. What are you planing to do to it?
I had a service call down there one time. I had a choice between taking the company GM diesel station wagon or my sports car. I took my sports car. The trip was 8 1/2 hours including the time taken for the stop. I described that trip as not quite being to Missouri, but you can see it from there.

Well, right now I'm having trouble uploading, it gives me an error every time. But I've got a 97 XJ, 4.0, 5 spd manual, 7" lift, 35" MT Baja MTZ's, 4:10 gears, Ford 8.8 rear w/ anti slip yokes, upper sway arm disconnects, been painted w/ bed liner inside & out, heavy duty bumpers w/ stinger on front, and probably other stuff I'm leaving off. Just traded for it Sunday. I just plan on trailing & crawling w/it, not much into mud pits but love tricky trails. I want to add lockers and a winch sometime this summer if possible, and a spare tire and a rack on top. Other than that I'm not planning on changing much.
Good call on the sports car Al, probably made for a much better trip! Pike Co is basically MO on the east side of the Mississippi. We're kind of in our own little world down here BUT we've got some of the prettiest country you could ever wheel through! Any of you guys come trailin' down this way?

Not currently. The local off road club, Down & Dirty Offroad, is starting to branch out and do overnight trips. I've heard of a place south of St. Louis, I would like to know more about, St Joe State Park.

alneilson, there are two big public jamboree's here annually & open to the public. I think the next is first weekend in August. I'll have to look into that place by St. Joe.
