New here and to jeeps
Hello, been looking on here for a week now and thought I would join. Seems like a fun place to come and get some help and see what others are doing to their jeeps.
So 2 weeks ago I got a 1997 jeep grand Cherokee limited it has the 5.2L 4X4 so far it has been a work in progress. The body and floors are mint still has factory paint and the floors show more paint then rust. I got this jeep as I moved to a farm and wanted something four wheel drive as my drive way is a 1/4 mile long and open fields on either side of me. Being in Canada we can get some nasty snow storms lol. I bought the jeep from a garage that the owner moved over seas and had the garage sell it for him. So I paid $600 cash for it so far I have put 4 new tires on new door pins tune up ball joints tie rods pretty much new front end. I have to change a wheel bearing yet. But looks like some one had already tried and stripped the hub bolts so not sure how to get it out yet.
Other then that I really like the jeep I have never owned one before so new to this I have a lot of plans I would like to do. But that will be in the spring. I am used to the muscle car thing where as I also owne a 1980 camaro Z/28 show and strip car. A 1978 Trans Am still in build. And a 1995 Mustang that I got this summer from my best friends family as I lost my. Best friend this year at a young age. And his parents knew he would want me to have the car. So the mustang is a tribute car for him do e up with monster energy theam.
Bit sorry for the long story lol look forward to talking to you all
