New guy from Va Beach here.
Hey everyone. Names Rich. Im currently in the Navy. Im picking up a 98 XJ 2wd from my inlaws in Pensacola and I get the distinct privilage of driving it 1000 miles back to Virginia Beach. Just wanted to stop by and say hey.

Welcome from Wisconsin. Nice! Did you goggle map your in-laws place and it was sitting on the lawn? When I did my house, the cars in our drive way. We no longer owned. The picture on streetveiw was about 5 years old.

I was mapping out my drive so my bosses had my plan of action and when I put the address in it was just sitting on the front lawn. Thats the most Ive seen of it in the last 1.5-2 years

Got some new pics of some of the work that Ive done since picking it up about 8 days ago.
Replaced both window tracks and motors. Still have to grease the tracks but I finally have working windows
Needed new headlights because the old ones had 0 reflective surface left
Needed a new stereo because the stock one was shot.
I also had to replace a brand new rotor because of a bad casting.
Thats where I am right now.
