New guy from South Georgia
Hey ya'll,
My name is JJ, and I'm new to the boards but not the world of Jeeps and automotives.
My dad drove me home from the hospital in our 1991 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we've had it since it rolled off the lot, and it now has broken the 400,000 mile mark. Through regular maintenance and preventative maintenance, everything is still 100% original or OEM. It was also what got me started in the world of automobiles. Helped my dad do a valve cover gasket when I was 11, and it's been downhill from there.
Recently, I built a 1996 BMW and once that project was done, sold it.
Now I'm currently restoring a 1979 Anniversary Trans Am with a 6.6 and this is now the love of my life...to say the least. It's going to be, what I like to call, a "Super TATA" as it's 100% original also, but getting one mean over haul.
Just bought my second Jeep, a 99 Sport, to part out after a blown HG and cracked head.
I'm more than happy to discuss any of my projects and anything else here. Glad to finally have joined the community. I'll post a picture of my old Jeep shortly!

I'm down in Statesboro. And the T/A is rough right now. 3 tone primer grey, and rough interior. It's a slow moving restoration but should be picking up the pace in a few months. It drives great though! I'll get pictures up soon.

Here's the BMW. It changed a lot since that picture. I tinted the head and tail lights, and spun my CoilOvers down a few notches until the wheels were tucked, then cambered them out a few degrees.
This is the 400,000 mile Cherokee. Still has the original paint! (Only thing that needs replacing, other than the tires) This car is my dad's pride and joy. Drove it for years, taught me to drive in it, now my young sister drives it to High School every day. It runs in the family, needless to say.
And as promised, here's my beloved 1979 Anniversary Trans Am. It needs some major body work, which is why I'm parting out the white XJ I just picked up. This car is going through a complete nut and bolt restoration, and a huge update. I call it the Super TATA. For those wondering, yes it's a 6.6 litre 403. 100% all original car, numbers matching.
hope ya'll enjoyed. I'm more than happy to discuss any of these rides with ya'll!
