Hello everyone! The name's Battle and I just picked up my second XJ. The last one I had was in high school: a 98 4 liter four wheel drive Classic. LOVED it until I totaled it in traffic.

Then I got into Subarus, owned a few of those (still do) until recently (i.e. a couple of hours ago) when I picked up my new daily driver.

It's a 99 Sport with a 4.0, NP231 and here's the kicker, an AX15. I'm stoked!

I'll get pictures of it tomorrow. I have some plans for it, mostly a budget lift, Geolanders and banks exhaust.

In the meantime, here is a picture of my old XJ.

Welcome. if you're interested there is a big jeep show at CJ's bar and grill in deerfield beach on saturday. after that there will be something like 30+ jeeps heading over to naples to do some wheeling on sunday. I wont be making it cause i have to work, but sounds like it will be a good time.

 

Hey thanks man! I'd love to get out of Miami and wheel. Heck, I'd love to get out of Miami. What time is that show and do you know when they head out Sunday?

Here are a couple of pictures of the XJ. I'm really digging it so far. The 5sp is a lot of fun. I do think the Jeep had been sitting for far too long and thus, a tune up, oil change, tire balance and wheel bearing inspection are in the cards for the very near future. Then, I can move on to making just a little less stock.

here is the info on it. i'm not sure when they are leaving to go wheeling, but I know a lot of them are going so you should be able to find out if you go to the show.
