hey all, new to the site but familiar with xj's and thought i'd say hi. had a 96 white 4dr i few years ago but sold it to buy a new cobalt ss supercharged. the jeep was lifted with a rusty's 3in with 2in spacer/shakles. 32x11.50 mt's with olimpic 4x4 bumpers and roof rack. loved it to death and am now pissed that i ever got rid of it... soo.. im currently on the look out for another xj. any suggestions? looking for a good one around 3,500 range. thanks guys

yea ive been looking on craigslist. nothing but bad luck and way over blue book
and yes i eat skyline about once a week

 

I'm so jealous. I get the cans whenever I go back but it's not the same. Try Ebay. I got my 99' XJ for $2,000. Dude wouldn't ship so nobody bid. It was in Jersey, but I worked in NY anyway. Picked it up on my way home.

I bought both my XJ's from Cinci there is a good looking 89 waggie in Louisville that the guy is entertaining 1200 for now.

 

Whats up man? Its a small world. You still have the Balt? I haven't seen any reasonable XJ's for sale in awhile around here.

Welcome from KY! I'll keep a watch out for you. It should be easy to find a good one in that price range or less. Paid $2,700 for my '96 a few months back and felt like that was top dollar, but it's pretty cherry. Just needs a lift, bigger tires, skids, etc
