I just bought a 98 xj a couple hours ago. Chili pepper red with 154k. Im completely new to this forum and jeeps. I've been on r3vlimited and e30tech for about 2 years now that I've owned my 1987 325is. I love that car and its amazing when its warmed up but couldn't do another winter driving a 24 year old car. So the e30 will sit in the garage and remain mostly rust free

Ok, so the plans for the xj include a 3" lift, 31s or 32s on soft 8s, and a roof rack, but that won't happen any time soon. Right now I need to get a stock key fob and or viper remote start (looking for direction here) and replacing my ghetto blaster pioneer cd player with a nice clean stock cd/cassette player. Anyone have a stock 98-01 cd player they want to sell for around $75 shipped? Thats about what they're going for on ebay.

As for the e30 its been lowered on 17s, chipped, exhaust and lots of things here and there. The pic here isn't the most recent but its all I could find. Looking forward to getting and sharing lots from this forum.

Thanks guys, it was advertised for $3995 at a po-dunk dealer plus tax at $300, doc fee is $150, plate transfer is $80. I got them to $3600 out the door so sold price was about $3100. Im happy with it, Id rather spend a little more and be happy in the long run I like to wrench on and keep cars til they die. I've already got a list of little things to fix
-Headlights are diff colors
-Shocks for the lift gate are done
-stereo sucks *** (found a stock cd player on CL for $60)
-interior needs to be cleaned up
-then I might get a remote start im not sure yet

Just finished paramedic school so money is tight but soon enough I will start do do some nice things to it.
