New guy from central Ohio
I bought my '01 XJ from my dad about a year ago to be our 3rd vehicle. Somewhere along the way my newer, nicer, V8 powered Explorer became the extra vehicle.
Right now I have my XJ scheduled for a little TLC at the body shop. It's getting a few places touched up, and the places on the inside of the doors and liftgate that are starting to rust along the bottom.
I need to put tires on it before winter gets here. They aren't bald by any stretch of the imagination, but I want to make sure I'm GTG for the snow. I think I'm going to put a 3" lift on it when I get tires. Here is the lift I have been looking at.

I've been lurking around here for a couple days, and it sounds like I will probably have a lot less problems if I stay at 30" tires instead of going up to 31. I do wonder if these 31" tires that are 31x10R16 would be a nice happy medium, since they aren't 10.5 wide though. http://www.quadratec.com/products/92612_1XX_PG.htm
I have also liked the roof racks, that mount to the factory racks, which I can mount my spare in and some off road lights on. That will be a little further down the road.
I'm hoping you guys will share all of your thoughts, ideas, and feedback.

Welcome.Nice Jeep!Looks like the rear is sagging so you don't want to do ADL's.It will sag again in a few months.Go with full leaves or a bastard pack on the rear. What problems might you have running 31x10.50s?Half an inch isn't going to make any difference really.
