My FIRST Jeep!
Hello everyone, I say FIRST in all caps because I truly see myself buying another someday. Anyway, I'm currently an Air Force Reservist here in Dover, Delaware. I am 27 years old, married, and have a little one on the way in December. My goal is to embrace the outdoor lifestyle and eventually get my child into it. I never really did anything outdoors when I was young and now I see how important it is to see beyond the tv screen and experience nature first hand. I'd like to instill that into the youngin... perhaps one day build their first jeep together...
I've always wanted a Jeep and never thought it was practical. I have since thrown my practical side out the window and now I own, outright, my first Jeep. I bought this Jeep one month ago for 5,995. It's a 1997 and had 69000 miles on it a month ago.
So far the only thing I've done to it is buy a set of Husky front liners. I have been saving a little money and selling a few things off that I don't use to fund a lift. I have about 1200 dollars and so far only plan on lifting it a little. I have researched and I think I'll be buying the RE 3.5" Superflex lift. I'm hoping to do some of the installation myself but, it may be a little to advanced for me.
Anyway, I love the site and am excited to be a part of the community. I hope to go on some meets and do some 4 wheelin and learn as much as I can. I know it's a long intro, thanks for reading.
Thanks!
