My 88 Chief
Hi, im Jeff, ive had my Cherokee sense January. Just thought of the idea of joining a forum and talking to other guys that mess with the xjs. Well so far ive liked it. I parked it on the snow bank and my school during all the snow, and on monday night i took it out for the first time off road in my buddys back yard . Its a really big open field so it was pretty fun. Thinking of getting lift, maybe converting to automatic to get rid of my worn out 5 speed, and eventually help the motor out too. Thanks for lookin. Ill try to put a picture up in a bit.

Thanks for the welcomes to the forum. I didnt mean anything by it Jeep Chick and any other females out their haha can we still be friends!!?
Thinking of ideas, going to be pulling it in the garage to fix the axle joint on the drivers side, already fixed passenger.... and sense the driver side will be tore apart and the rear leaf springs are sagin, why not lift it. So was thinking go cheap with just a 2 inch or maybe get a 3. I dont want to go any bigger then 3, for now. The only thing that will suck about lifting is getting new tires. How will it look with say a 3 inch lift with the 235-75s that i have on it?
