Since my last post I've been away since 2012 in a 2nd Cherokee and a 2001 Pathfinder. I pick up my new baby today A 1996 Cherokee Sport 2 Dr.

I've been looking for a 2 door model for about 4 years now. Every time I find one its already been sold But not this time !!!

Welcome back. I took a four year hiatus myself, only to finally get a two door as well. Mine is a '96 two door, 4.0, with a 5-speed! Good find on your XJ. It looks very clean.

Wow a 5-speed ! Now that's a rare one !

I picked up mine last night after work and was very surprised at what good shape it was in. The only problem is the headliner is starting to sag a little which is quite common.

My headliner is shot too, along with the front floor boards. It's taking up space in my garage while I get it all sorted out. I only paid $900 though, so I knew what I was up against. I am determined to have mine ready by the time snow starts to fly though!
