well a couple of weeks ago I lost my 2001 TJ Wrangler in an unfortunate off-road accident. Due to a deployment coming up i didn't want to get another wrangler due to there costs and I didnt want to leave a car sitting for over 9 months. so I got myself a 1987 jeep cherokee XJ. she has some stalling issues in parking lots (fairly certain its the crankshaft position sensor) and she isnt as pretty as the wrangler but hell, I still lover her anyway.

here is the thread on the aftermath of my jeep "Serenity" http://www.wranglerforum.com/f5/the-...ng-190047.html
As far as my XJ goes she runs well and except for a stalling issue i plan to fix today, she is a very good vehicle.

Welcome, I just switched from a 1995 wrangler to the XJ(1993) I think you will be pleased. Very capable and more comfortable.
