Default Just stopping by for a quick introduction.

Hello,
I am a proud owner of a 1998 Cherokee Classic. It’s not an off road beast but it is my joy! I purchased it with one mile on the odometer and it now has 260,137. It is a white four door with a grey interior, three inch Rough Country Lift, brush guard and 31X10.50 BF Goodrich All Terrains. It goes everywhere and anywhere I want it to go. It has never been wrecked, has a few hail dents and it is 99% rust free. I look forward to meeting you!
Mark

Welcome to CF. How many of those 260,130 miles are on the BFG's. Do you like them.

Thanks The Black.
I have had the BF's on it for a little over 160,000 of them. I love them. I tried Good Year's once and they didn't last. 1 set of swampers too and they were okay but again they didn't last. I'll never put anything but the BF's on it again.

Good to hear. I think that's the tire I'll get next. Post some pictures of your rig.

I am working on posting some pictures I took yesterday. It rained, so you know I just HAD to go get it a little muddy! I have an old PC that might have a few pictures on it but I got a virus on it last year and after about a week of trying to clean things up I caught an attitude and went an picked up a laptop. The thing is, the old software for the Camera won’t work in the laptop. I have taken some pictures of it with my android and I am now waiting on the emails that I sent them to myself in to finally show up. Sometime it takes a few days to a week for some reason. It’s strange; I can post to facebook all day long and they show right up, emails take forever. I decided last night to try this new hosting site, Picasa (Google) and for some reason it is saying that it can’t retrieve the pictures. I sure wish these high-tech gadgets were as reliable as my Jeep. I’ll post some pictures as soon as I can.

Nice pictures. You got a good start to your Cherokeeforum addiction. That engine bay looks super clean. Do you wash it?

Yes I sure do! From the first day I brought it home I have worked to take care of it. I buy WD-40 by the gallon. Before I ever took it off road I coated everything with WD. It makes it much easier to keep clean and keeps the rust away. I even crawl underneath and wash it. Each time I wash it I break out the air hose and dry everything off and then recoat it with the WD. I guess that is why nothing squeaks

Thanks for the welcome Ol"blue! I have family in Michigan. Where do you live? Maybe I have been in your area.
