Hi All,
Not my first foray into the Cherokee world, but a welcome return to a fav vehicle.
Picked up a '96 Cherokee 2-door, 5-speed manual yesterday for $1900 from the original father/son owners- nearly perfect red body and paint, 187,000 miles, clean interior and good running overall.
Being of a vintage persuasion, I'll likely refurb it back to solid stock condition with some new 30X9.5-15 Geolanders and a few well chosen farkles - nothing radical. Will use it for camping and modest offroading locally.
Already found out how to deal with an errant vent dash control issue - vacuum leak at the reservoir or somewhere. Looks like a great forum.

I'd take this vehicle a little further but lack funds and don't know how reliable it's going to be just yet. Seems solid - will know more after I change drivetrain fluids, oil, plugs, etc. and clean it up. It's going to be a sharp looking rig when I'm done, so I might flip it too...

Awesome 2 door. I see you've got a V-Strom too... The instructor for my permit course had one. It's a pretty sick bike.

You should rubberized undercoat your wheels...then spray them with semi-gloss/gloss black...did it to my white 4dr stock wheels...looked great, much better than stock
