Default Jeep newbie from NY

Hey,

I'm from Upstate NY, just below the Adirondack Park. New to jeeps, but not to off-roading. I have had ATV's and Dirt bikes for 15+ years, which will still be my main off road vehicles. I bought a 1994 cherokee mainly to get back to my hunting camp. Getting there in the fall, winter and spring time is a challenge because there are no roads. So ill need some help getting this jeep on and off road worthy.

Looking forward to this project!

How long does it take before I can start a new thread?

The front shackle on the rear leaf spring has broke/rotted off the frame, and I need to get this fixed ASAP. I have been searching but can not find any info about fixing this on a XJ. I contacted SAFE-T-CAP but they do not offer anything for the XJ

Any help?
Thanks

All these yuppies call 911 when they see snow on the road, forcing the state plow trucks to go out and salt the roads when they dont even need it. They even keep the plows down on dry pavement, because ppl call and ***** that they are not doing thier job.
