Jeep Newbie Here!!!!
Thanks for adding me cherokeeforum.com!!
Sup Guys & Girls,
I was given a 1995 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0 A/T 4x4 by my oldest brother as a gift. A gift to remind me that he supports me as a recovering addict and that I only get to continue owning this beast so long as I stay sober & clean. Well he's had it for 5 years prior to passing it to me; 130,000 miles, a minor oil leak, high pressure power steering hose just busted, brand new coil (relocated), changed cps twice, 31x10.5 GY Wrangler MT/R w/ Kevlar (rubs on full turn), stock height, 3" straight pipe to super 44 flow master muffler and thats about it. Well I want to start working on it slowly and most cost effective as possible, where necessary. My question is where do you guys think I should start at. I'm open to tips and tricks so please shoot them my way.
I'll post some pics soon....Thanks
Peace & Chicken Grease!!!

Welcome aboard!
It is a big No-No on this forum to discuss or mention what you did about the catalytic converter. I suggest editing it out and not to mention it again..
As for the ZJ I would start with fluids overhaul. This is a good way to get to know it better. Being a 1995 and if the fluids condition is unknown then replace it. Power steering, Brake fluid, Gear oil in axles, tranny fluid, Coolant, grease suspension and driveshafts, etc.
Maintenance goes a long way with our rigs.
