Default Hey from Lincoln, NE

Recently aquired a 96 cherokee sport, 4.0 HO, auto, unsure of the transfer case and axles. Was told it has a 2 inch lift, and has 32 inch tires. Was under it earlier pulling the starter and didn't see any spacers / shackles so I'm assuming its a full suspension lift.

Its got a homemade rear bumper with a reciever and hook points, and homemade side supports.

Its also got the custom "no rearview mirror broken back wiper leaky rear seal bad starter no cd player" mod as well.

Starter decided to quit working yesterday, sweet life. Gettin one tomorrow. Always fun laying on your back, in snow, with a socket set and a cell phone flashlight pulling the starter, as its still snowing and your parked on the curb.

I'm a 4x4 noob, been in and around old muscle, turbo cars, crotch rockets, etc, but no real wheeling experience. Been wanting a good jeep for a couple years now since my dad got his cj5 and started building it up.

Future plans are a full 4 or 5" suspension lift, winch, excessive preventive maintenance, roll pans or w/e the slide guards are, window tint, and eventually fabbing my own turbo kit for ****s and giggles would be fun.

Always kind wondered if I could grab a turbo manifold for a 7mgte supra, cut the flange off, and extend / weld it to a jeep manifold flange? From there its just t'ing into the oil pressure sender line, tapping the pan, mounting the intercooler and fabbing piping. Well, then finding a piggyback system or some means of tuning it. Just a pipe dream right now I guess lol.

Anyways, hey all

My Jeep:

Welcome to CF!!! I say the 96' cherokees are the best! Yours looks good with the bigger tires, you got the same jeep as me and I was wondering is 31's will fit on a 2inch lift and you are proof they will lol.

32's are fitting with no rubbing, I'm not 100% sure its a 2 inch lift but I believe it is. Keep in mind the front fenders are cut too though. Ill get some good close ups once its running and clean lol
