Default Hey guys

New to the site and I joined looking for help because my XJ is a pile and has problems that it came with when I bought it. It overheats and I'm missing all sorts of crap from under the hood. It nice to see a Cherokee only forum.

Welcome XJ Comrade! I know exactly where you're coming from, I bought mine about a year and a half ago and it didn't even run. Today it runs like a champ and now I am finally able to start gettin her ready to OFF-ROAD. tell us some more details about whats wrong and get some pictures up as well. You came to the right place, without this forum it would have taken me WAY longer to get her runnin' right. THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYONE!!!

Sorry for not responding a lot earlier. I got caught up in my predeployment staging. I'm in Iraq right now.

List of problems

1.No pressure bottle - didn't have one. Don't know where the hoses run.
2.Missing vacuum lines. I have no idea where any of them go either.
3.Some really homo air intake - I really want an OEM but no one sells it as a whole.
4.Some gerry rigged cooling fans.
5.The motor overheats really quickly. Due to missing pressure bottle.
6.Heater core was bypassed I think because I have a hose going from my water pump to an inlet into the motor I think. I kinda just arches over my AC compressor right back to the motor.
7.Leaks oil from somewhere on the motor because my engine compartment has oil everywhere.

If any one could help so I can fix it it would be extremely appreciated. I won't be surprised if I don't get any hits on this.

I'm replacing the motor in it when I get back from Iraq. I've overhaeted that motor so many times and the thing is 21 years old. It's days are numbered. I just don't know where all of the stuff I'm missing goes and I need to get picture up here so you guys can see what I mean. I have a technical manual but it doesn't help - it's very vague.
