3k seems a bit steep unless it is in amazing shape and he has kept up with the maintenance. I paid 4500 for mine but it only had 20,000 miles on it when I got her. I might try to talk him down a little bit Welcome to the forum!

I have no idea man (I have never had power locks or windows). If you ask in OEM tech, I'm sure one of those wizards will be able to help you out.

How much did you end up paying for it?

On my '98, the locks themselves on the doors are pretty tough. Sometimes I have to hit the unlocker twice to get them all unlocked. I recall a thread not too long ago where a guy actually rebuilt the actuators. Lots of work though.

I wish mine had manual locks and windows...screw all this power nonsense.

Oh, and welcome

I have a 92 with electric...my locks were stiff. I took my pass front door out and cleaned the whole thing and put graphite in there to lubricate it and works great now! And the button is easier to push getting in. Wound up doing this to all my doors

With it being stock and street tires, it did surprisingly well, we went on a trail that was difficult rated, and only had to get pulled out of a spot once! Not mention we had to turn back cause the trail got to gnarly for our stock rides Gotta get some bigger tires and a lil lift,,,,,,, but that won't be for a while.
