ok, i dont own a jeep yet, buttttt im thinkin i wanna get a cheap older cherokee, love the looks...
questions:
what do i need to look for? and what do i need to watch for? are there any years i should look for? and last but not least, this will be my daily driver, but i drive 5 miles to work so gas isnt that big of a deal. i own a 4runner and im gettin ready to sell her

Welcome to the forum, just fine a clean jeep that meets your standards. Make sure the fluids are full and look pretty recent and you should be just fine. Let us know if you have any questions on a particular jeep

Welcome to CF. You will have to find the Jeep then we can help you. All of the years past 87 each have their own positives and negatives. You will find that ppl tend to like whichever year they either have on just know the most about. So go hunting and report what you find and we will try to advise you from there.

great, time to sell the 4runner and get a jeep cherokee, im thinkin maybe a 90-95 4x4 with a 4.0, sounds like that may be a good choice.
