for sure, we should all meet up. I cut out pretty much the entire rocker panel today. Going to try to do the same to the floor tomorrow. Still need a welder.

sounds like fun. i live downtown, and i cant do any serious work on my car where i live. I spent most of today getting estimates for 3" lifts, i really hate to pay someone to install it, but I want the lift before winter gets here.

Damn I want a Miata.

Same boat here. My small quick car gets the budget and the heep gets the leftovers. But I love it anyway.

My wife tells people that our family doesn't believe in stock ride height. The Jeep's 3" too high, and the Civic's 3" too low.

Ouch.

Look on the bright side: It's all underneath, so you don't have to make it look pretty. Trust me, I feel your pain. I just yanked all my carpet to start fixing my floors.

Start cutting and grinding. Get rid of everything that's soft. Weld in new sheetmetal, and POR-15 it. You'll never have to worry about rust there again.

I am deciding if i want to go with new floor panel replacements or just get sheetmetal and weld that in. What you think?
