Default Hello from Colorado

Hi everyone. Really new to all this, and I have a lot of learning to do.

My name's Hunter, and, completely by chance, I ended up with my first car this year--a 95 Jeep Cherokee.

How I made it this far in life without a car is a long, pathetic story, and, while it wasn't my 'dream car', I'm already very fond of it.

Why? Well, it runs like a champ even though it needs work. I'm not confused when I look under the hood. And, if I may be slightly girlish? It just happens to be my particular shade of green.

I don't know much else about it yet, but I plan on learning as much as I can, as quickly as I can.

It's...yeah, weirdly addicting. And this site's already been very useful, helping me track down all the information I need to really find parts.

I'm not actually 'from' Colorado--I'm from PA, originally. I just...ended up out here. Sorta on what used to be the edge of Aurora. Pretty nice place to live, although it's certainly trickier to do work on cars. Small driveways, and often slanted.

That'll probably make replacing the thermostat a bit tricky [although I'm reasonably certain I can manage that, because I replaced the thermostat on a Pontiac Firebird Formula once].

Kinda also trying to work out how to replace the radiator fan right now, too.

Bit of a step up from 'I figured out how to replace the wipers and the headlights, woo!' but I'm sure I'll find something somewhere.
