Hi,
Just bought a basic, stock 1990 4.0L Cherokee from its original owner. Has 210k miles and has been well cared for over the years. Has every receipt for anything more than an oil change. Nothing flashy about it but everything works, except the A/C. No grand modification plans for my Jeep. I mostly bought it to carry the family up to the local mountain for snowboarding, to back country trail heads for backpacking trips in the summer, and to tow our dirt bikes around.
Spent the evening searching this forum for a solution to the worn out driver's seat. I see I'm pretty much limited to the 83-94 XJ years. That's a bummer because I was hoping to round up some Grand Cherokee seats.
Looks like there is a lot of helpful info here, so I decided to sign up.

Howdy Bravo and welcome to the Forum!
I am also in WA and have a stock 1990.
Our 1990's were the last year of the "renix" control system. Be sure to read thru these tips relating to our XJ's.
