Default got my first jeep!

well ive done it, got my first ever jeep, a 1996 jeep cherokee sport. don't know anything about jeeps but im sure i will learn fast lol. any advice about what to do to it first would be greatly apreciated! i've already tuned it up, full service, a good cleaning, and a good greasing. im a mechanic for a living but work on heavy equipment and am more at home working on diesels lol.

im using it for ocational off road, mostly a wife car. basicly would like a little more power, reliability, and just a little more ground clearance

Welcome!
A nice intake, maybe a bored TB, and free flowing exhaust, and just a good tune up should help you a little bit in the power department, and normal maintenance of fluids and keeping everything greased up should keep it reliable.
To get some ground clearance a good 2" BB or 3" lift should be good enough for either 30s or 31s and be able to get some decent offroading.
Good luck with it, and if your going to be wheeling it be sure to get some towhooks up front, and either a rear towhook or hitch for recovery

thanks for all the welcoms! i already am driving the wife nuts with things to do with the jeep lol, already did a complete tune up, fuel filter was nasty! and found me some 19lb/hr ford injectors which i heard was the way to go in these but not sure on that? other than that at least the po had taken good care of it, no rattles, sounds anything like that and it has 210000 on it.
