Just had a new fuel pump put in and it’s already making noise. Could the old fuel filter be the problem? Or the fuel pump sucking sediment from the old gas Cause the Jeep sat for like 12 years from the previous owner who thought the motor was toast. It didn’t have a lot of gas in the tank when I bought it and I fixed a few things and it started right up. Had a bunch of stuff changed and a lift kit and rims and tires put on and fixed a few things yesterday. A couple days after the shop put the fuel pump in it started making a really loud noise again. It hasn’t been very worrisome until I drove it for about half an hour. It’s pretty loud. Any thoughts? I’m done taking it to the shop I can figure out how to do everything myself I just wanted it to be ready fast that’s why I took it in the first time.
