different noise from fuel pump ?
I just noticed the fuel pump on a 89 4.0 auto has a different noise now,it used to whirl nice when turn the key on ,now it makes a random wirl noise with a sput sput,starts fine but was wondering if this is the start to a failing pump or a bad fuel filter,filter was changed 3 yrs ago and I don,t drive it full time,maybe half the yr
