Ah details.
2000 sport
105000 miles
$4800
First mods will be two infant car seats. I have a 16 month old and a 4 month old. I would like to get a better stereo and speakers in there, tint the front windows, fix a few detail issues. Nothing fancy. I do want to get that damn spare tire out from the cargo area.
Are there any suggestions? I will search the forums too.

Most people I've seen do a tire carrier on the rear bumper or I put mine on my custom roof rack with a giant wing bolt going into a metal plate

Welcome.
I'd suggest a roof rack, but it'll add more wind resistance to your already refridgerator box on wheels. It'll still be nice, though, esp with the children. More storage is always nice.
