Default first time jeep onwer in MI

hey guys, I live in MI just out side of detroit, and just got my first jeep, allwes loved them now I got one. I love going up north here in to the woods. Iam looking at a 2" lift kit, and would like to know if I get this 2" lift if i have to change any thing eles?? like shocks drive shaft and so on??? thank you for your guys time. Ryan

Hey welcome!..... With a 2 inch lift your pretty safe without having to change anything else. Eventually maybe longer shocks. Just get a 4x4 allignment after and you should be good to go

sweet.. thanks. I dont want to go way off the wall right now, just a small lift and winche and i will be happy for now.

Welcome from Lake Orion/Oakland County. You shouldn't need to change anything else with only adding two inches. However, if you'd like to knock it out at the same time, get a better ride quality and have some better flex, you can buy 2" extended shocks at autozone/Advanced Auto for roughly 34 dollars apiece, which is fairly cheap. They are Gabriel brand shocks, think they're called Gabriel Silver Ultra, or something of the like. Still have the rears on my 4.5" lift. They're nice.
