First Jeep, 85 Pioneer 2dr, lots of work ahead :)
Hi All!
Just got my first Jeep, 85 Pioneer 2dr. Just has the little 2.5l but that is ok, if I get it started lol. Hasn't been started in 6 years. My friend at work just parked it when it began to run bad back then, he bought it new and drove it up to that point, with only 142k miles total.
No pics, I need a new camera, but hopefully soon I will have one.
Not too photogenic yet with peeling clear coat on gray paint and dry rotted Tigerpaws. Original owner probably only used 4wd a dozen times for snow if that. Should be pristine gears in the Tcase.
Not sure yet where I will go with it mod wise, will decide on that once I finally get it started.

I have an 86 comanche with the 2.5 and bought it though it had not run in 12 years. all i did was:
-drain old gas, put new gas.
-new cap, rotor, plugs, wires
-new air filter and fuel injector ( is it carbed or TBI?)
-new oil change
should run good as new

Going to clean up the carb and see if that helps.
