NEW* RHD cherokee :)
Hi there my name is Amber
I work as a contractor for the USPS and I just recently acquired
a 2000 rhd jeep cherokee but its gold
with a 4.0 I6 with a rebuilt toyota (340?) auto trans 68k miles 2wd
pretty reliable car so far it doesnt like starting in the cold weather
and also randomly when im driving the check gauges light will come on
when oil pressure drops but it goes away when pressure goes back up
idk why it does it the jeep still continues to run and drive fine when it does that
other carriers with the same jeep say that i just need to run heavier oil?
anyways i joined the forum because i feel its good to be involved with people
who own and know the vehicle i have and i like to learn what i can to diy instead of paying shops to do stuff im also deeply involved in the Scion/toyota world

Welcome. I am also a mail carrier. I have a 1995 RHD cherokee. 4.0L 2wd. I have two other cherokees to boot. Might want to replace the pressure sending unit first. I have owned lots of toyotas. Are you my twin?

I rotate cars way too often. I am down to only one toyota now my 1994 Previa All-trac I use on the route during christmas and as a back-up vehicle. I had a xB with a few TRD goodies tho. We had a loaner TC once, kids loved it, my body wasn't made for it. I have had 19 toyotas.

Nope, too short, felt like I was sitting on the floor. I like to sit up I guess. I get the "Why don't you use the xxxx for mail delivery?" all the time. I just shake my head.

A couple of celicas, couple of dodge daytonas, and a talon later I guess I don't like the "fall in and roll out" part. Don't get me wrong I love the handling part. Guess that is the reason for the Jetta sportwagon.
