First jeep
Hello all! New here on the forum, new to Oregon and just got my first jeep. 1988 cherokee 4.0, four inch lift, straight piped, 22,000 miles ( yes that's correct!) paid 800 bucks. I spose I found myself a diamond in the rough. Straight body, runs, drives.. I'm about to put some 35s on her and hit the trails. She didn't come with an anti sway bar in the front or links but I picked myself up some rough country quick disconnects and a bar from a local jeep salvage yard.

Congrats on the find. I'll be a voice of reason here and say 22k miles is a false reading. If I'm incorrect then 22k miles still isn't a good thing. A vehicle driven that little will have its own set of issues, mostly all the seals, belts, hoses, etc dry rotted and cracking. Check everything inside and out.

Thanks for the advice..luckily the previous owner replaced all that stuff before it was passed on to me. I gave it a thorough inspection the past few days. Lots of new essentials.

No, I don't lick fish.
Welcome to the forum!
22k miles, wow... great find, but it looks like the PO beat on it a little bit. Still will be a great platform regardless. Congratz.
