I have a head scratcher and need help. Engine miss on #1 & #6, sometimes!. Problem started with security system, that was removed. Then engine would die when hot and not restart for 3-4 hrs. Auto shut off relay not being energized. Changed CS sensor, everything seemed OK. Next day engine had a bad miss, checked spark plugs, they were way over due. Replaced plugs, seemed OK. Next AM same problem, changed cap and rotor, seemed OK. That PM miss was back, found there was no fire to #1 & #6 plug wires when problem was present. Engine can be shut off and restarted and might run great. Any ideas? Sugestions? This Jeep belongs to neighbor women of limited income and poor health. Thring to help out but I am in over my head.
