Hello, my name is David, and recently I was able to trade my dad
My Ford F150 for his XJ. He bought this Jeep new in 1996, which just
Happened to be the year I turned 16! 2 door, 5 speed, with a 4.0 and
4 wheel drive! What else does a 16 year old need when he is growing
Up in Ridgecrest, Ca, gateway to the Sierra's?
So, Now that I have her, it's time to put in some work. My dad kept it
Pretty much stock, used it primarily for hunting and camping trips, told me it was fine just how it was! So, within a couple months: 5.5-6.5" long travel kit, 4.11 gears, lockers, 33-34" tire package.
I can't say I don't miss my truck, but my truck can't take me where the Jeep can, it has been a long time, but am happy to have arrived!
Glad I am going to have the opportunity to meet so many great jeepers, and thank you for this forum'
