it has sat in corydon for a month. Funny thing the kid selling went to school with my kids. He was asking 4500. No way. Really clean underneath. Has new power steering and ac pump and hoses. The bottom of the motor has been rebuilt. Had him down to 3 and he keeps the rims n tires. Later he said he did not want to mess with the rims n tires. So we gave 35 for it. It does need some paint. And a windshield. And hopefulky just and alignment. But she loves it. And together we will fix it. Wish me luck. Oh it has a rough country 3 inch lift. I know. But it is easy to replace the few parts in that kit.

Just keep tabs on that 0331 head if her XJ is equipped with the 4.0L.

It is the 4.0. Want to investigate installing an older or better head.

It was a southern state or city vehicle. Think i may just pop the valve cover and check the numbers.

Looks like the gas filler is on the passenger side? My 98, it's on the drivers side. ?

Look at the steering wheel, badging, and the logos on the pumps.
They are reversed.
