Thanks. I hope I can get my jeep looking half as good as some I've seen on here. I've been creeping and I'm impressed with what y'all do to these things.

Normally i don't like the newer mustangs but yours i do.The off road aftermarket for the xj is almost as big as the mustangs,Your wallet is about the only true limit on what you can do with one.

Just build the jeep with almost as much care as the mustang. You can leave out the wax for now

Wow. When you said Mustang, I was thinking fox body or 90s era lol 07 GT! Nice. I'm not big on fords but that things has some nice numbers and looks clean.

Anyways, welcome to the site. You will have tons of fun and frustration with your XJ guaranteed.

Well guys, I'm pulling the motors this weekend. Hope to have one jeep running by Sunday evening. When I go out there to mess with it, I'll take some pics and start a build thread. I've been creeping a bit on here. As I start working on it in earnest, I'll be posting up some good ol' newb questions. I promise though, I know about cats and lifts though, so y'all shouldn't have to mash on me too much.

First I gotta pull the motor from the 87 and put it in the 91. Then swap intakes and some other stuff to get it running. Then I'll be swapping body parts to get one clean body. Then we'll see where it goes from there. Gotta decide on a color scheme, how much to lift it, what else to do from there.

Things are not going according to plan tho. Having trouble getting this damn motor out. We pulled the one from the 91 no problem. This one is giving us fits.
