Cherokee newb from upstate NY.
Hey Everybody, John here from Rome, NY.
Been a ranger guy for about 15 years, but the family is growing and it's hard to stuff everybody in a pickup to go play. Have had explorers before, but must admit they leave a little to be desired.
so here i am. on the market for an xj, and am sooo glad i found this forum. so much good info and friendly, helpful people.
i think i'm going to enjoy being a Jeep guy.

I finally found her!
some slight body issues here and there, but with some TLC she's going to be perfect!
first things that I want to do (in no particular order):
Interior needs a super cleaning!
replace black rtv mess around windshield with a real windshield seal.
replace lights screwed to the luggage rack with a legitimate light bar. (full roof rack would be awesome! but out of price range for a while)
SYE
re-gear
some body work
replace AAL's with full spring packs (not saggy yet)
