Default AZ Newb with clean XJ

Howdy kids,

just bought a clean XJ in Tucson with a 2" budget lift. Guy I bought it from did all the work so far, but I'm happy he did.

Looks completely stock except for lift and 31's with trimmed end caps.

Looking forward to seeing you guys on the trail.

Kong, if you don't mind, what did you pay for that clean Jeep? Very nice! Love the way it looks! I live in Northern AZ and am starting to look at used Jeeps. I am trying to keep it to no more than $4500.

Default Sorry for delay

Hey Raven, sorry for the delay. I paid $3800 for mine. I looked long and hard to find one with low miles and a clean body. It's just the base model so no power anything, but it met my criteria. Largely unmolested, clean and relatively low miles (125k). Doesn't leak anything, and all the key maintenance parts had been replaced. I know I got a good deal because I looked so long, and I looked at some pretty rough XJs that people wanted more for than the one I bought.

PHX Craigslist is probably not a bad place to start, I saw plenty decent looking XJs up there. I just got lucky and found this one here in Tucson.
