Another new guy from AZ...
Heya folks, names Chris. I have owned my 1999 Cherokee now for about a year. It has 110k on it and is 2wd. So far it has been nothing, but a DD. My sister owned it first and it over heated on her (she refuses to do any maintenance or upkeep on her vehicles) and she drove it til it popped a freeze plug. Luckily she didn't do any major damage to it. Since then I have replaced the radiator, water pump, and thermostat. Anyway, I got this to use as a camping vehicle for myself and the dogs. My father was the car guy and unfortunately growing up I didn't care enough to pay attention when he tried to teach me. I can get around the basics pretty well, but that's about it. That being said, I really know nothing about my Jeep. Any suggestions on helpful reads I can look for? I haven't searched through the forums here much (just found this site today). Something possibly without all of the acronyms that just make it more confusing for a newbie like me? Thanks in advance for any help or tips and Have a Good One!!

Snapped a couple pictures today and was hoping someone may be able to tell me what I'm at looking at. The first is my rearend. 1 of them pictured in the "Helpful LInks" look similar to this one, but hard for me to tell for sure.
Here is what is stamped on the center section of the rearend:
Dana
43225
280 8
Peak
02 27 97
The others are of the front and rear end. It looks like someone put 1 inch blocks on the back, but I'm not sure what the spacers for the front are supposed to look like (if there are any on here at all).
Thanks!
