Default Another Canuck

Hi!

Well I've been here almost two months and I've finally gotten almost-acceptable pics of the wheels... so now I can post one of these

First Jeep, always loved 'em. Never done any work on a vehicle before (almost typed "car"...) but this thing's inspired me to spend too much money on tools and maintenance that I've spent more *on* it than I've actually paid off on the original loan...

So! I present Mr. Green Jeans, a 1999 stock 4L, 4x4, 4-door, with a stick shift and 317400 KM on the original transfer case fluid... ahem I MEAN on the odometer. Aside from my first Jeep, he's my daily driver, first stick shift, first oil change, first broken bolts, and first RWD (in 2H of course).

Here are my barely okay cellphone pics just after a rinse at the local coin wash. Ontario jeepers may notice the Pizza Pizza and silver ZJ in the background lol

Bone stock except for the vent shades, my hacked up grounds, and a Pioneer CD deck that I can jam the iPhone into. Also, the rust in the floors and undercarriage wasn't on the build sheet from Chrysler, so I guess that must be aftermarket or something If you're really paying attention you may notice that the Os in "CHEROKEE SPORT" are sideways and reads more like "cher0kee sp0rt" - the P.O. had it repainted a couple of years back (it's hunter green, can't really tell due to winter light) and I guess they weren't really paying attention when putting the letters back on. I just tell people that they were replaced with zeroes and it's better that way 'cuz it's a l33t hax0rz j33p.

Hope to get out wheeling this spring! Would go sooner but I have a long to-do list that I need warmer weather and longer days to accomplish. After that I've got another to-do list that includes a 3" lift, 30s or 31s, and all the usual fixin's. This forum kicks ***, I've learned so much already, and don't see that stopping any time soon.

Cheers!
Ross
