Hello From Ontario, Canada
Hi everyone. Ive been lurking on this forum and a few days, and thought I would become a member, since I'm looking for a Cherokee right now, as a second vehicle. Can't wait to learn more, and nice to see a few other canucks on here. I live about 90 mins away from Niagara Falls, and I have lots of family and friends in Michigan, Florida, Illinois, and Colorado. Ive got myself one of those Nexus cards, and probably head over to the USA a few times every month in the summer time, and probably once a month on a regular basis.
Ive got a hunt camp about 4-5 hours North, around the North Bay Ontario area, and every fall and spring, we have a big weekend long ATV excursion, and usually get a few of our real dedicated buddies from the Port Huron/Detroit area to come up with us to party, and ATV through the bush in the Canadian wilderness. Great bunch of fellas.
I do alot of hunting, and alot of my destinations require some sort of serious off road vehicle, to get there. I'm looking forward to getting myself a Cherokee, so for atleast half of my hunting spots, I won't have to bring my delicate 7 passenger SUV (gmc envoy xl awd), and tow a trailer with ATV's, in order to get through a farmers field, or rough trail that a Jeep Cherokee would easily get through.....and in the end, I would probably save myself alot of headache, and extra sleep, by not having to load up ATV's in the morning. I recently sold my old chevy Z71 pick up truck and within the next couple weeks, I plan on having a gently used Cherokee in the driveway, because like many of us, I have determined that it is the exact type of vehicle I need and want....Great off road, reliable, roomy for my gear, and also gives a sense of pride of ownership, and pride to belong to a select group of off roaders that share a passion for there unique and excellent built off roader.
