So I just picked up a 96' XJ 4.0 HO I6 5sp Manual transmission w/144k. A buddy told me about this site and I spent a good couple of days checking out all of the info. This is my first Jeep and I am already very satisfied and ready to start playing with it......it is all stock (for now) and handled great in the mud and trails last weekend.....

 

if you plan to go bigger than 31s I would swap out that rear end
