Default Tire size and gears.

I am new to this site... I have a 95 Cherokee with a 3 inch lift... How big of a tire could I fit on it, and if I get bigger tires, would I have to change gears?

welcome. This is the intro section and your ? is very common. use the search function before posting there has been many posts to answer most of your ?'s

But just so you don't think i'm a jerk...lol for a 3" lift 31's will be the biggest without cutting the fenders. give or take.

Thats a nice xj. Its looks like you allready have a 2" lift on it.

Performance. With your generation you can do an intake manifold upgrade from a 99 xj. neon fuel injectors. depending on whether or not you do the intake mod will determine wich injectors you will need.

Then headers and a nice catback along with an air kit of some kind. thats about it.
cpu chips and intake spacers are a waste for the most part, but i'm not sure about your year. they might help, but i don't think so. someone else who know could tell you.

good luck and check on that possible lift thing. count the leaf springs or check for extended shackles in the back. also check the front for bigger spacers.

My xj is a 95... The only thing done to it is a K&N... Im kinda wanting to put a flow muffler on it cause my cat is bad and my muffler has a hole in it. It has a 3" lift but I'm kinda wAnting to put 3 more on it.
