thinking of dumping my 2012 jk . miss my xj
So I'm thinking about getting rid of my 2012 JK. Figure I trade it in on a car for the wife and drive the Cherokee again. now how to fit my 35s under xj.....

Take a look at most unibody vehicles, especially ones built since 2000 or so and most only have frame rails for the mid section of the vehicle rather than a full frame and body welded together.

You can't just call that a frame. just because the shape appears similar doesn't make it a frame. a normal frame is structurally solid without the body. And the unibody frame rails are just stamped sheetmetal which is very thin in most places, and extremely weak when separated from the unibody.

Well after a day of looking at new cars, i have decided to keep the jk and just buy me an xj to mod. The wife doesnt want her xj moded in any way so i told her .no new car for you.lol.so now the hunt is on for a 96 4Door standard shift
